A Christmas Prayer

Manger sceneDuring this holy season of Christmas,as we share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds,
and the worship of the wise men,
we pray, O Lord, that you fill our hearts
with peace and good cheer
throughout the coming year.

May Mary’s openness
to your wondrous ways
be an inspiration
to place all our trust in you.

May Joseph’s courage
provide hope during times
of anxiety and uncertainty.

May Jesus’ life show us how to love,
forgive mistakes and misdeeds
and heal hurts and divisions.
May You always guide us
with Your wisdom and
keep us in Your care,
this is my special wish for all,
this is my Christmas prayer.
